Cotswold Hideaway holiday cottage has excellent facilities. It can very comfortably accommodate up to 6 people
The accommodation has been graded 4 star under the English Tourist Board rating system.
Sitting room
The sitting room is spacious with comfortable seating and "Clearview" wood burning stove. Large windows look out into the front courtyard. Colour TV and DVD, radio cassette recorder is available.
Kitchen
The kitchen is compact and well-equipped with electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is a utility area with washing machine/tumble dryer and central heating boiler.
Conservatory/dining area
The conservatory contains dining tables and chairs. French doors to garden terrace.
Bedroom One
This is the main bedroom with double bed. It is on the ground floor.
Bedroom Two
This has one single bed and has the option of a further bed (ideal for children). It is also on the ground floor.
Bedroom Three
This is in the roof space with two single beds. It is a twin bedroom upstairs.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a bath, overhead shower, WC and wash basin. It is located on the ground floor.
Galleried Landing/Sitting area
This looks down into the sitting room below. It is an ideal place to relax, read or write a letter.
Facilities
Electricity, gas central heating and a reasonable supply of logs for the wood burning stove are included in the rental. Additional logs may be purchased at cost.
Duvets and 2 pillows with all bed linen are provided for each bed. Towels and drying up cloths are also provided.
A child's cot and high chair available.
A file is provided in the cottage with maps, brochures and information on all the local visitor attractions.
Cleaning
The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between lets and we pride ourselves that we maintain high standards throughout the letting period.
Phone
There is no telephone in the cottage. There is a public telephone in the village. There is reasonable reception for most mobile phones.
Parking
There is ample private parking for up to three cars.
Pets
We are sorry, but pets are not accepted.
Smoking
We do not accept smoking in the cottage.
Garden
The secluded garden has garden furniture and a barbecue.
Supermarkets
The nearest supermarkets are Tesco in Stow-on-the-Wold (3 miles) and Budgens in Moreton-in-Marsh (3 miles).
The Village
Although right in the centre of the North Cotswolds, Longborough is one of the Cotswolds' quieter, less well-known villages. Longborough provides a quiet retreat away from the crowds.
Here you are free to enjoy wonderful walks in the surrounding countryside and the natural beauty for which the Cotswolds is famed. As well as all this Longborough village still very much retains a life of its own. There is a local Post Office/village shop, two pubs, church and a school in the village.
